Hello,

since last month, I can't create any task (group tasks & globle tasks).
Admin Kit update task also missing, that also can't create.
I try to uninstall the admin kit and msde, then installed it and restore the backup
but it doesn't work - problem not solved.

any one can give me the solution for this.
because of I have 1500 clients,
please give me the reasonable solution for this issue.

Yes, I have a little tool that can help you. As the admin kt update task is a unique task, your database has probably been corrupted and you cannot reset a new update admin kit task.

Check the readme and run this tool in command on your server and it will troubleshoot your situation. After running that tool, you'll be able to re-create your update task.

are you sure you have used the right command according to your database type and so on?

give me more details about your installation, db and version is it installed on the same machine or not and the command you tried...

Yes of cause, i typed in right command.
I try this in same machine.

I uninstall the Admin Kit and install it again, then restore the backup(I tried 7 backups).
That process is ok, but not fix my problem.
I used new release, that can't connect to console.

after that I used
Kaspersky Administration Kit
Version: 6.0.1572
MSDE2Ksp3en (comes in media kit).

I have a sysfile also.

in this case, if your issue is critical, you should contact the support by the official way : not by the forum...

i think, you should install latest version of adminkit. The latest version is 6.0.1710, just released last week. Download here: http://www.kaspersky.com/productupdates?ch...nlink=206910133

It is advisable to backup the admin kit first, and install the latest version directly. No need to uninstall older admin kit.

By the way, version 1572 is known to have the bug of update problem : http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208279782

First of all, please look at you Kaspersky Event Log. Are there any errors? Please export all the events and send to me as a personal message or attach the archive here.

This is not Kaspersky Event Log.
Open your Event Viewer (Computer Management, System Tools, Event Viewer) and select Kaspersky Event Log.
Then perform Export command.

Please look at the error messages in Event Log.
F.e.:

Database error occured: Error information: 1950/-2147217900 (Generic db error: "Database error: code = 0x80040e14, message='IDispatch error #3092', description='Could not allocate space for object 'Hosts' in database 'KAV' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full.

Please check your KAV database - it's probably full.
Do you have any database management tools? Can you perform the following commands and give as the results?

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM ev_event
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM Hosts

Please unpack the attached archive on your AdminKit computer and run "run.bat". As a result, several result*.* files will be created in that folder. Please send them to me.

Please check your KAV.mdf & KAV.ldf size. It should over 2G already.
1500 clients by using MSDE is not a good idea. Propose your management to purchase SQL lincense.

Since you are using MSDE2K, download SQLServer2005 SSMSEE or SQLWebAdmin Setup to try shrink
database for temparory solution.

Thanks your supports, actually issue is more capacity in database.
I install the SQL 2005 and restore the backup.
now it's working...
