Hi,
In the past I was able to deploy Kaspersky without requiring the Network agent to be already installed. Now, when I try that, it doesn't work.

In your deployment task, uncheck "Do not install if the software is already installed". Also if you deploy using the default account ensure that account has access to admin$. Otherwise set up a right account to deploy.
