Hi all,
using Open Space Enterprise on our network and I have a single workstation which is performing a virus scan and then shut down at least once a day at the moment.
It is not scheduled to do a scan (its in the same Admin Kit group as 4 other workstations and uses the same policy as 30 other workstations who don't show the same symptoms).
The same workstation keeps giving me messages that its signatures are out of date and it could be at risk but it has the latest signatures available.
I re-installed the latest version of KAV Workstation 6.0 yesterday but this has not solved the problem.
Can anyone help me solve this problem?
Many thanks for all help offered
Andrew
Hi,
Please post a
GetSystemInfo report of this computer.
Is it a real shut down or a reboot ? In case it is a reboot, there could be a furtive blue screen, and you should enabled creation of full memory dump:

Hi Tybilly,
thanks for your response.
I have run a GFI and it shows that the NIC driver is outdated and that OneCare and Windows Live Favoutires are installed which could be potentially incompatible.
None of these reasons seem a likely cause to me.
The reboot is a "real" shutdown and restart, not a crash or blue screen.
Any further idea's?
Many thanks
Andrew
Hello,
If the computer restart automaticallyn then a blue screen occurs. But if your system is configured to reboot automatically, you won't see it.
Try to follow the link I posted.

Hi Tybilly,
I have checked and the computer is not set to Automatically Restart following a blue screen.
I think I'll log this one with Kaspersky support, thanks for your help.

I think what it 'Advance disinfection scan' task starting on that workstation. Check Anti-Virus events list in main GUI report.
