we are facing issue with some of our client; the kaspersky stopped in their machine and the machine be very slow; i have checked the event for one of this machines and i found the issue started with the below events
when we restart this machine everything back to normal

I think im also getting this error, kaspersky stopped my whole computer and i nearlly re-installed office then noticed kaspersky was stuck on an update, i cant start kaspersky up to get a log because it will freeze my machine, will this patch help?

well it seems 2009 is here so ill uninstall 7.0 and upgrade !

ok now im annoyed, a brand new install of 2009! Installed fine, did a restart, it then gave me "application launch failed", currupt database and then crashed on close and wont close the upload dialog box because it hasnt finished uploading yet it hasnt even started it so im stuck.

Ive had nothing but problems with Kaspersky for months now, i will not be renewing my license, im very upset kaspersky has ended up like this

Please delete the files under folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab but leave the folder AVP6 there if in KAVWS6.
I think similar method may do in yours as well.
Then apply the patch where you can download from namh's link

its not your fault, i know you're just a member, but what did ever happen to the simple KAV6 that worked and gave no problems ?
