Hi everyone!!

I have a customer with 800 workstations aprox. The customer has not PC's availables and decide create a virtual server with this performance:

Windows XP Service Pack 3
1 Gb Ram
Xeon 2.8 Ghz
20 Gb Hard Disk

Could i install the adminiistration kit and connect all 800 pc's to that virtual PC??

Yes you can install your Administration Server in a Virtual Environment.
By the way, Administration Server, Console and Agent are fully compatible with

* VMware Workstation for Windows 6.0.2
* VMware Server 1.0.4

Also I advise you to use MS SQL Server Express 2005 (or SQL Server 2005 license) and not MSDE to manage 800 hosts.

The SQL Express or MSDE are supported by Kaspersky Lab up to 500 clients... if you have 800 clients choose SQL server or MySQL (take care about the supported releases of MySQL : 5.0.32, 5.0.33, 5.0.34, 5.0.36)

Also, your Windows XP allows up to 10 simultaneous connections from the clients : it would be really a better idea to install a 2000 or a 2003 server to manage your 800 clients...
