Hello,

I am new to Kaspersky (came over from Symantec after the endpoint fiasco) When I install the clients, it tell me that the updates are control by the administrator. Is there anyway that I can let the client do their own updates?

I have a few laptops that I would like this to happen on.

i set a seperate group up for my laptop users with a seperate policy setting
that allowed them to run updates whenever they wanted
also that allowed them to update directly from internet

you can set policy and group task in kaspersky administration kit

Thank you for your replies. I looked in the Admin manual and when I try to add the policy that is shows, I dont have the same screens or options the what that it shows. I'll keep trying it.
