Presently Kaspersky Lab’s products version 2009 cannot be updated from zip archives.
What abt the computers not connected to the internet. Ya there is a solution as below

it is a beta.
and not really hard to do.download the zip, unpack it and run updater.bat. that's all, it will create the update source in \Temp\temporaryFolder\

i get the following error

.....updater.exe is not a valid win32 application

then your download is incomplete, you did run it via command line. kis_8_0_0_454.zip works here

I downloaded the zip file. Extracted the same to my usb. Then went to usb -opened the folder and then run the updated.bat. Is this procedure correct

yes it is and it should work.. you have to have thse files with these hashes.
