Is there a bartpe plugin for v9, I have come upon some viruses that is impossible to remove unless you manually boot through a pe disc and look for the service or files it currently uses to start, cause trying to install the scanner while the system is running is impossible, the virus kills the install process and deletes the files. Any solution to this

agustaf4, what V9 are you talking at ?
For BartPE, unless you have encryption software, such as Pointsec, installed, you can download from their site to use
in your PC for troubleshoot.
BartPE is much more easier than WINPE.

the BartPE plugin is included in the KAV/KIS 2009 and others,
just run Create Rescue Disk task on a machine with KIS/KAV installed - it will create a BartPE disk with KAV 2009 plugin installed.

I won't give you any tips on how to extract this plugin from KIS/KAV and use it to create rescue disk on a machine with BartPE without KIS/KAV installed since this can be considered as reverse engineering and is forbidden by the product license...

(An important tip, however: since the total size of the av-bases is larger than 32M, change the size of the RamDisk to 64M (instead of default 32M) in plugin/ramdisk/ramdisk.inf before you create Kaspersky Rescue Disk)

LOL in kav6 96MB not enough...

Use this Rescue CD. It´s implemented in 6.0.4.1212.
