I have tested KIS 2009 , very cool design but the only thing I don't like about it is the lack of details in its logs ,
version 7 used to log everything since the activation , it monitors and logs all events , KIS 2009 doesn't have that functionality
also , details on scans , its doesn't give you details like the 7 does , like number of infected and untreated objects and its names , it is only lists the objects scanned and I have to scroll along the endless list of scanned files to ensure that they are all safe !!! not details whatsoever , the results of the scan is not clear , so I suggest improving it .

settings>reports and check the unchecked boxes for logging. (log non critical events, registry etc).
then in the report look at the top banner and click important events and select all events
