Dear all , can some body help me ?

what is the meaning of "routed mail" and "do not scan routed mail" ?

i have already read the documentaion about this " funtion" , The meaning that seems to be ,

do not scan the email when it will mailed to the outside mailbox that we use the Exchange server internal mailbox.

but in fact , when i use my excange server 2003 internal mailbox mailed to Gmail external mailbox , it will still be scan again. and

the infected object will be put into the backup storage .

hello,
IMHO, it means that when Exchange works as mail relay it would be better to exclude scanning of this relayed traffic.
