Full Version: Autosend Daily Virus Report Fails

Hello,

I support several companies who use Kaspersky and would like weekly AV reports emailed to them.

Under Administration Server "Properties > Notification tab" I have entered my Support Firms email server data and it tests fine.
Next, I go into "Reports" and click "Add a new report template" and create my Virus Activity report.
Next, I highlight (single click) the new report template and click "Autosend Report" and enter the email address of my client so it will be emailed to him directly. This tasks shows it completed successfully, but I never get the email.

If I change the email address of the recipient (my clients address) to match my Administration server's "Notification tab" settings (my business email address for support), it works fine.
I need to be able to send reports about a single domain, to multiple addresses outside of that domain. Have I configured this correctly? I can send email directly from my business email account to the same clients email address without a problem.

Anyone?

Is there a special syntax I can use to send to more than one email address? i.e. <some_email@domain.com>; <another@different-domain.com>;

Surely we are not limited to emailing to only 1 address?

Hello,

You can enter more than one address as a list separated by commas or semicolons.

About the delivery issue :

- Check that the email is not considered as spam by your email server and by the the email server of your customer
- Under Administration Server "Properties > Notification tab > Properties", enter an email address which is authorized by your email server to send messages outside your domain et enter a subject. Most of the time email server are configured to reject messages from anonymous users.

the SMTP session log can help to find the reason of nondelivery.

you can grab it, for example, with Wireshark for Windows on your Windows server sending mail reports, or on a target mailserver with any appropriate packet sniffer...
