Previously on one of our PCs we have KAV 6 Home installed and it worked well. O/S Windows XP SP2, 32bit (AMD). Three days ago we have bought KAV 6 openspace, and after installation it became inactive (gray tray icon) with a message showing some license problems (as describes our system administrator). We've removed KAV 6 and installed KAV 2009 - it doesn't works, tray icon is grayed and message "Your PC is in danger" is shown. All services are inactive. An attempt to start them (by clicking appropriate button) gives no result.
KAV 7 makes the same. I've removed HDD and checked it for viruses - found one Backdoor.Win32.Bifrose.vyg, cured without any effect.
What can cause such problems?
