Hi all

I renewed for one year my KIS license so I find this product very good. Congrutalions for team ! b_punk.gif

I have a few suggestions for "antispam", I'd like that one of the next version could include an improved system for sending emails to servers Kaspersky for analysis.

And the system that allows you to automatically send junk mail is good but it raises some concerns. I not only that the email address of the addressee is no longer present to avoid any problem (as in fact it is necessarily one of my addresses therefore "not good" for confidentiality).

but I also that the software includes a internal smtp system (adjustable either port 25 or on another as the 581) rather than through my sent items because I have to manually remove the numerous emails sent to KIS.

and in passing, I did not find the function for not authorize the automatic sending emails undesirable KIS but only "blacklister" address? unsure.gif

on another subject, I noticed that could block dangerous scripts in Internet Explorer but not in firefox? why?

as 200 million users, I use firefox 3 and I can also block scripts dangerous unsure.gif

as with unwanted mail, is it possible to automatically report a dangerous site or to analyze from the browser? If this function is not integrated into IE7 and / or FF, it would be greatly appreciated.

thank you and see you soon!

it has to use a platform, since the mail is already inside the email client, ending it through it is the best choice.
the scripts thing in internet explorer is only usefull if you don't use the http scanner or the script is local (for eg embedded inside IE), as the http scanner already blocks the malicious script prior to downloading it (same for firefox, opera etc), so there's no need to do that for firefox. if you just wnat to block all scripts use no script

if the site holds malicious content, and that content is detected (eg a site which "offers" a ton of droppers which change rapidly), kaspersky sends the url throguh the feedback function

OK Lucian

Thanks for your responses b_punk.gif

It's a real problem and a big waste of time for me to delete from my list of all items sent emails referring spam.

At the same time, it seems essential to contribute to this fight by pointing out massively.

I feel really bad that there is not a function of KIS to extract the source / content of the message to send to your servers for analysis. Ideally, once they choose to click on the red button, the software did its job of extracting data it wants (and that the user wants ... this would even be great to have boxes tick to choose what are the info that can leave or not: Body of message, recipient adress, sender adresse, etc.).

I am convinced that the KIS team could look at this issue quickly to propose a solution that arrange many users who would use this function in the same manner and with the same constraints as me.

Another issue always on the bad emails, is there a function (which can activate or deactivate) to make a blacklist senders when clicked on the red button reporting?

this would in any case for me antispam dreamed or almost:)

thx !

only through the report, right click>Add to blacklist. however it won't be of much use because spammers change email addresses frequently. there is no built in blacklist of email addresses (updatable) for that same reason.

I understand that spammers change their emails but it would still sound that can automatically build a blackliste personal!

we can send you the addresses on your servers for analysis but not automatically bring with us blacklist, it seems to me not necessarily fair... it would be appreciated being able to choose to add (or not) automatically blacklist email addresses regarded as undesirable
