Dear Sir

i'm not sure that Kaspersky can running on group of Thin Client Server and work correctly, Thin Client is the Server Based computing (Central server) for processing activities for Thin clients, Thin client run only such as web browser or remote desktop software. Each client just have only mouse, keyboard, monitor connect to Server Based via network. It is similar remote Windows session from client to server. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thin_client )

For this case, How to install Kaspersky on their achitecture?

Have you ever seem any problem on Kaspersky with Thin Client? such as driver level of kaspersky as klif driver. How to fix this and aware the problem?

Is possible installed Kaspersky on Thin Server Based ? and How to culculate the license used? Because one server provide many client sessions, Do you have any idea for this case?

Have you ever installed Kaspersky on Thin Server or similar issue? Please advice in detail, i aware the problem with Thin client because last time i found the problem about Kaspersky with Magic miror (is similar Thin client or VMware machine server for provide many cleints session and share hardware resource) and i can fix this by change startup type of klif driver from automatic to on demand instead. i see that Kaspersky have many problem with klif and k1 drivers such as about usb problem, when Kasperksy update this driver, have anyone know?

Thank you so much

Hi Wii,

I recently helping my friend installing Kaspersky on Thin Client.
The product used was N-Computing with Windows Server 2003 R2 installed on host computer.
Basically we need to install the KAV for Windows Server Enterprise Edition since this product was specified for terminal server environment.
We had a mistake before, that we install KAV for Windows Server ( not the 'Enterprise Edition' ) to the thin client and there's so many problem occur ( the client cannot access the host, if they can access the performance was painfully slow, & occasional blue screen ).
But since we realize that we use the wrong product & installed KAV WSEE everything's OK.

Hope this help.
