Hello, well i have suggestion for future releases,i want something like McAfee SiteAdvisor...I using it, but it cannot work in Firefox Safe Mode....Well anyway i want Site Advisor from Kaspersky...

do we really need to copy every one? do we really need a plug-in? KAV does have phishing and suspicious sites detection and blocking and it is working generically for all browsers since it is filtering the traffic at low level. more, almost all latest versions of browsers also have this functionality and additionally to all this you are able to use an hosts file (like the mvps hosts) to block bad sites.

NO! KasperskyIS does not need copying all the other firewalls' add-ons, plug-ins.
KasperskyIS has an add-on option in Internet Explorer: "Add to Banner Blocker". Is it not enough?

I concur - I like the visual of knowing if a site is malfeasant or not. Other people I've worked and talked with like the Green Red Yellow information buttons on Site Advisor - add my vote to the let's do it pile!

No, we don't, but marketing may feel differently on that one. wink.gif

I wouldn't mind something like a site advisor, norton developed one of their own, it fits in the prevention category, which is the best defense. I really like site advisor's system, but they don't get around to checking new sites enough, don't moderate at all which results in anarchy with spam and all the rest, and their support is horrendous, I think it has pretty good potential, the amount of similar products out there should be a indication.

But KL products are generic on Traffic Level intercepting malicious files and URL's smile.gif....Why do you need to be browser dependant?
KIS/KAV built in protocollers can understand the Web/Email traffic just fine.

I totally agree with this suggestion. I used McAfee and I loved the Site Advisor, it helped everyone in our home to see a site that might not be worth going to in. My granddaughter who is only 10 knew that is she did not see a check by a web site, she probably should not go there. She uses the computer a lot for school reports etc. I frankly loved it. I tried to use it on this new computer and and no matter how many times I downloaded it on Vista 64 bit, it kept giving me the blue screen of death. Took it back to circuit city and they told me McAfeee was not working well on 64 bit although it was supposed to. Thus I now have kaspersky.
Just my 2 cents

...but nobody really forced you to go with x64 bit. Which still in the realm of power users and driver conflicts galore with software compatibility issues.
