Has anyone here experienced problems with Outlook XP after installing Kaspersky 7.0.1.325?

Use the search in Personal products forum. Why do you use the version 7.x? The 2009 is available...upgrade.

Don't have much of a choice, the software was supplied by my employers and they bought it new. So, anyone encountered similar problems? Does anyone have a solution?

You can upgrade even if you have a 7.0 licence! Just download the latest 2009 release from kaspersky.com and install it over your 7.0... that's all ;-)

I don't know about version 7 but I'm having issues with Outlook XP and KasperskyAV Corp v.6.0.3.837 . Ever since I installed it on our Workgroup machines that connect over a vpn, technically they have domain accounts but run as a workgroup in the field, I can get mail but then the process stops at 50% and sits there until you cancel it.

As a temporary fix until I find the real fix after I cancel the Mail process I close Outlook and re open it, download just the Global Address Book, then do a full Send/Recieve. Which works. But... at least one of the people I fixed yesterday are having the same issue today so it may be a temporary fix. KAV works fine on the local domain member systems.

Any suggestions?

thanks,

Greg
