Full Version: Kaspersky Agent Fails to Push but KAV Installs??

I have 2 new computers on the domain that both fail to receive the Agent in the push (boxes are checked to include it with app) yet the KAV WrkStn installs and functions.

Of course there's no communication between the Admin Kit and Workstations (they still appear faded red).
Do I have a corrupt installer for the agent? It worked on 25 other PC's about a month ago in the initial push.

Should I reinstall the Admin Kit?

What is the error? Is the firewall disabled on the client?

Can you install the agent locally?

There is no error presented. The workstation just fails to check-in after installation.
When you check its status, it shows KAV 6 is running but no agent installed at all.

I have not tried to install the agent locally because I thought it needed to be pushed out from the server in order to get proper config settings for the network (communication ports, update source etc).

I'm pushing from Server 2003 Standard R2 to WinXP Pro SP3.
Could SP3 be causing trouble?

try to install the agent again, but dont forget to set task settings unchecked for: Do not install the product if already installed.
