Hello,
I ran a scan & received a notification that my database is corrupted. The scan detected 6 Security threats & I tried to resolve the issue, however I can no longer enable any of the following:
Anti-Spam
File Anti-Virus
Mail Anti-Virus
Web Anti-Virus
I received a notification to update my database, but I am unable to connect to the internet as well. My computer shows that it is trying to obtain a network address. I manually downloaded & installed the most recent updates (av-i386 weekly,daily & cumul), but did not help in resolving any of the issues. I suspect that the virus has affected my internet connection. BTW, I check all network cables & uninstalled, then rinstalled the network card as well. Please let me know what additional information you will need. I need to resolve the issue ASAP!

I am using 'Anti-Virus 7.0 (build 7.0.1.325)'
please uninstall teh product and upgrade to KAV 2009 from here:

What will happen to the viruses that were detected if I uninstall the current version. Do I need to pay to upgrade to KAV 2009???
One of my computers got hit with the Antivirus XP scam and it was tough to get KAV 2009 to load and scan but eventually it did and it seems pretty well cleaned up. However, I think Kaspersky got taken by this one, at least my machine did and I note they tell us we have to upgrade to 09 for a fix. Doesn't bode well.

Were you having the same problems with connecting to the internet? It's really strange because I tried to manually configure an IP address & I can ping other machines in my network, but my machine doesn't appear in my network & no internet access.

dont understand what do you mean exactly by this above? i expects that all the virusses that are detected in the past, are cleaned-up?
in the uninstall procedure, you get an question like: "Do you want to uninstall all product components"u ncheck all the boxes in the screen and hit yes to procceed.
you dont have to pay for upgrading the product. current activation KAV 7.0 is also capable to use for KAV 2009.
