Hi All,
i am facing problem in connecting to the slave administration server from the master administration kit and I got the following error message:

"Slave Kaspersky Administration Server information for 'Administration Server 192.168.0.100' is unavailable. Make sure slave Kaspersky Administration Server has connected to the master Kaspersky Administration Server at least once, refresh slave servers node and try to logon server again."

The other message I received was belew:

"Initialization of Kaspersky Administration Kit failed. Kaspersky Adminstration Server was improperly installed or invalid server address was specified."

Theses error message when it was happened which I already successfully created the connection to the slave server. When try to reconnect it shown the error message above.

Been checked with the firewall settings, all inbound and outbound are allowed. It able to reach each other IP.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Patrick

Check:

- Right click you slave Administration Server -> Properties
- Click Servers hierarchy settings
- verify "Address" field, it shoud be your master server IP/name
- verify "Administration Server certificate", it should be your master server certificate (you can find inside %programfiles%\kaspersky lab\kaspersky administration kit\cert in your master server)

Thanks for the advice. Initially after I did the steps exactly same as you, it successfully created. But when my master tried to connect to slave it fails and prompt up the error message as per below:

Initialization of Kaspersky Administration Kit failed.
Kaspers Administration Server was improperly installed or invalid server addrfess was specified.

Any idea?

Please check Kaspersky Event Log on both servers for errors.
