Once I installed KARSPERSKY version 6.0.2.678 on a new machine running XP PRo SP2, wich is the case for my all others machines I got some modules error during starting (File, internet, SPAM) and a messgae signatures corrupted.
I tried to make a new update I got a succeed message but still problems.
I tried to desinstall it then reboot, then reinstall it, stil the same.
I have a valid licence up to may 2009 for 10 machines, this one is the nine.

I faced the same issue, and hope that it will be fixed soon.
But if you need urgent solution and if it's possible, I advise you to install the latest build of KAV for Windows Workstations which is 6.0.3.837.
You can download it from this page. There's no error while updating with this build.

Thanks for your advice, but as I have others 9 nine machines I would prefer first to solve that case, and then make an upgrade for all machines. i have also a server 2003 to be upgraded.
i hope we will find soon a fix as I can't use my machine and it is very important to have it soon.
