Does the Kaspersky workstation checkin with the AdminKit on boot, prior to the Windows login? If not, is there a way to make it do so?

We are doing a very time sensitive operation, where we must ensure that Kaspersky must have checked into the database, prior to the user being presented with a login box. We use 802.1x authentication on our system, and the access of the user is going to be controlled by a userid and password, as well as the information generated by the Kaspersky agent in the database. A user would be denied access to our system if the agent has not checked in yet. That is why we must be sure it runs and checks in at startup prior to the user being presented with a login box.

well, this is a very nice question.....once said that KAV and Net Agent are separated packages (so i think you're interested in Net Agent's behavior only), i can only say that net agent is able to communicate with AK server even if the user has not logged in yet.....but, again, i think that someone much more skilled than me might have a better answer...smile.gif

Well thanks for your time, hopefully someone can give me a solid answer smile.gif I think what we can do is just use a scheduled task on system startup to accomplish this with the network agent but I'm not sure how to kick it off.

Thanks again.
