When compiling an application, VS creates and runs bat files used to compile the code. For example BAT00001C36122936.bat. It creates and runs lots of them.

Now, KIS places those batch files inside the Low Restricted category, but I'd really like to keep those categories clean. I don't want KIS to analize those VS-generated batch files, it should just ignore them.

How can this issue be solved?

Hello
in CF1 you can exclude files/folders from the application filter so they won't show up. so you can create a mask for the bat files (some folder\*.bat)

I am having this same issue, but I can not find the setting you are referring to. Exclusions set in Threats and Exclusions -> Trusted Zone do not allow wild cards, and I did not find any way to do this in the Application Filter settings either. I am assuming I already have CF1 as I have been running the updater to keep KIS2009 up to date (if I have to get it explicitly, where do I get it)?

yes. in settings>threats and exclusions>trusted zone>Exclusion mask. it allows the * exclusion mask

the updater only updates hotfixes, cf1 is a major build, you have to upgrade it manually .check if the version is 8.0.0.454 in support.

Yes, it is 8.0.0.454. I found the setting and have it working correctly. Thanks!
