i like kaspersky and all...
but it's this virus alert sound!
omg!
i put headphones and i listen to smooth jazz music and then suddenly (weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!) (or whatever that sound is written!)

would u plz enable changing that sound! or even change it to another sound....that's alerting but not scary! omg!

it's very bad...

default sound was changed it version 2009. and yes you can also change it by disabling self defense in settings>service
then changing infected.wav in the c:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0\Skin\sounds\ folder with another wav

the disabling of self defense is so that you can change the wav file, otherwise kaspersky will block the attempt. afterwards you can turn it back on.

Yep, I found it alarming too. Glad Kaspersky got rid of it with 2009 (I actually have no alert sound at all) maybe that's related to Vista x64.

The big there STILL, not by default though
There are NO sounds/alerts in Auto mode, except for "Advanced Desinfection" confirmation.

This is the new 'Default' sound in KIS/KAV 2009

Check .zip attachment
(Save, Unzip and Replace it with the original sound file)

I like the pig... (Pigs are good )

That explains why I haven't heard it then (using Auto-mode).
