Suggestion For Scan notification and introduction of a "Mini Notification"
It has been already discussed it seems... people wondering why KIS 2009 wouldnt notify of a complete scan etc...
I want to suggest something in relation to this...
1-- Folder Scans etc has the below Interface feature that notifies of an ongoing scan, this image also serves as a notification... naturally.
Now, Mostly i leave a full scan on when going to bed or probably going out (when the system is unattended), So when i return to the system... a small notification would be good. Ok, i know we have reports to see the details of scans etc but instead of everytime going into reports, i think a tiny notification would still be good.
How about having a new option in the SCAN area that allows us to switch ON/OFF the notification, just like how we could choose to shut down the system after a scan.
Heres an example below:
Like the other options there, it can be managed by clicking for quicker alteration instead of going into "General Settings" Of KIS... Click On The Option And Choose. The "Settings" Will take you to the "General Settings" Of KIS in the "Notification Settings" Area.

To make things more concise and to prevent interference with other work, we could Introduce smaller "Mini Notifications" to notify users of general task completions instead of using a larger sized pop up
Here are examples:
These "Tiny" notifiers would not cause interferance and yet at the same time provide task info to users, and ofcourse, it can be enabled and disabled depending on what users would prefer.
These notifiers would have a link to the report (as shown in the above images) - Clicking on the notifiers would close it...
