Hello everyone,

We have 200 end user computers with windows XP Runing Kaspersky Workstation version 6.0.3.837 and the network agent.
All these computers are linked to a dedicated Admin Kit Server version 6.0.1591 FR runing on windows XP SP2.

Every couple of hour we are hit by a network overload, all our ping times raises from an average of 3ms to an average of 800 ms with peaks above 2000 ms !!!
This lasts about 30 minutes to 1 hour and then everything returns to normal state.

If I shut down the Kaspersky admin kit service, the ping times return to their normal state immediately.

Does anyone have an idea ?

Try to slow down Administration Kit network scanning. Run attached reg-file on the computer with Administration Kit installed and restart Administration Kit service.
