dear all,
currently I've installed KAV version 6.0.3.830 for my department. bt, it seems like we're having a problem to print via the network printer which is hp laserjet 4250.

so, everytime my staffs want to print, i've to disable KAV for a moment before resume it back.. because it is the only way they can print out via the network printer. is it because of the anti-hacker protection..?

Please help me..

really need your help.. thanks in advance..

in your anti-hacker setting "zones tab" setting try adding your zone (subnet address and subnet mask) to local area network

also try disabling anti-hacker components and try to print again, are there still error?

1. Try install the latest version of Antivirus.
2. Try disable Proactive Defence.

installing to the latest version is good but disabling proactive defense i think is not a good idea.
hmm... i think it s false positive, before i also have problems with konika printer, what i did is turn on the training mode and allow all connection, monitor all ports, rebooted the machine after every alteration on the setting, i also added the printer process and application to trusted zone/apllications and voila problem was solved but only with windows XP, in Win98 and Win 2000 pro what i did is install version 5 of KAV.
