I'm having problems installing the administration kit 6.0 in our sever, when appears "creating database" on the administration setup wizard an error occured, something like this "An error occured while installing the aplication. Setup could not create the database..." .

Actually I've bought an bussines space security, and I haven't any SQL server installed on the server, so I decided to install a free one because I didn't found Microsoft SQL Server or MSDE, it seems to be on the "CD" but I've download the administration kit so there is any "CD".

Well, here are the system specifications:

- Windows XP profesional installed on the server (any Windows server is already installed).
- EasyPHP with MySQL server active.

I don't know if you need anymore information to solve the problem, maybe you could say me where to found Microsoft SQL Server or MSDE setups or send them to my e-mail, because I've seen that the aplication is well prepared for these products and maybe have some problems with MySQL.

Other information:

- User with all permissions is created on database and I used it on the setup of the Administration kit.
- No other databases are created, I've already install MySQL only for your product.
- Server is configurated with common shared folders in XP, anything about domains (obviusly, it's not a Windows Server one).

What could be the problem? any suggestion is welcome.

I finally found a version of MSDE, it's called MSDE2000A, it seems to work perfectly, or at least I haven't any problems with the installation and creation of databases.
Does this version reports any errors? I mean, if it will work properly and in the same way than the SP3 version.

The only thing missing is to recieve the license, I've already paid by credit card but only the bill and the budget have been sent to my e-mail, nothing about activation codes or licenses, maybe because it was on Friday night and it's still Sunday? or should I have it yet?.

I think the MSDE 2000 Release A works ok with Kaspersky Administration Kit,

"MSDE 2000 Release A is functionally equivalent to SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine SP3a except for the following:
New licensing agreement
Removal of the merge modules that can be used to embed MSDE 2000 Release A with applications
New ReadMeMSDE2000A.htm that contains information specific to this release.
