We have recently switched to kaspersky 6.0 for Windows workstations. Two problems are being faced
1. Updates happens automatically every hour even if updates are set to manual level
2. How to enable notifications which has been accidently disabled?

1) does KAV for Workstation update from AK or directly from Internet servers?
2) Settings\Service\"Interaction with user": here you can enable/disable notifications. Moreover "Advanced..." button allows you to define settings accordingly to your needs.
