Is it possible to allow a user to update Kaspersky when they are not on the corporate network? At the moment, if a user tries, it says 'Update is controlled by your administrator' It would be useful the give them the option of updating when they are online.

Yes this is possible. You need to enable the installation of the local update task before the deployment of the product. This option is available in the properties of the installation package of KAV WKS.

Thanks Billy, is it possible to do it for workstations that already have KAV WKS installed? Would i need to deploy the software again, with this option selected?

You can manually create the Update task on the machines you want. Without re-deployment.
