I am installing the current trial version of Kaspersky AV admin kit. My server is Windows 2003 SP2. It is currently running 2 instances od MSDE 200 and 1 instance of SQL 2005 Express. I have downloaded the MSDE2000SP3 install from the trial downloads site. When I run it, I get the initial splash screen telling me that MSI is unpacking, etc. It then quits with no error message. The event log tells me the MSI installation started and then the MSI installation failed. But there is no specific error code. Any ideas?

I suggest to install SQL2005 Express for the AdminKit.

Thanks for the advice. Are you aware of any support documents explaing how to do this? Do I install the SQL 2005 Express with any particular instance name? How do I tell the admin kit installation which SQL instance to use?
