With version 5 there was a way to disable the predefined startup scans. I cannot find this ability in version 6, is it available anywhere? If not can the setting be pushed out via a group policy registry change or something?

Hello,

This setting should be change before deployment, in the properties of the installation package of KAV WKS 6.
If you've already deployed this task, then you can disable schedule execution of them in the policy of the product.

I have already deployed to about 500 workstations. In the admin kit I can find nothing in the policy about disabling any scheduled tasks. And sense it is a default local task, the only way I can see to do it with the admin kit ( with Version 6 anyway) is to go into each of the 500 machines and change it from scheduled, to manual.

If there is a policy setting I'm somehow missing I would love to put it into effect if someone can let me know where to find it exactly.

Hello,

In the properties of the policy of KAV for Windows Workstations, in the "Settings" tab, Additional menu, you can disable scheduled start of local tasks.
