Hi

I am giving kaspersky AV 7.0 a trial (previously used NOD32 & prior to that F-secure). Having recently installed on 2 pcs (XP pro) my main issue is that both have slowed considerably. On my main dev pc (Visual Studio, 3rd party components, sql server etc etc - lots of exes & dlls etc) the File AV seems to be the culprit. I've tried excluding the main folders but in the end have had to set the scope to only scan external drives (which I guess defeats the purpose - or not??).

Does anyone have any similar experiences & how did you resolve them. (I like the look of the UI & the product scores well in external tests but I'll have to give it a miss unless I can get this solved.)

No responses - oh well.

My PC has crashed 3 times today (never crashed before!) - so I'm giving Kaspersky a miss - looks like it's back to NOD32.

You must give more information.
What version, build, S.O., other security programs, etc...

If you are using Kaspersky Antivirus v7 or Kaspersky Internet Security v7 you must post in the home users forum (they are home users products).
If you are using Kaspersky Antivirus Workstation v6, then this is the correct forum.
