can I install and run well a workstation edtion on a vista business OS?

Yes, you can.

Software Requirements
Microsoft Windows Vista
Microsoft Windows Vista x64

Note: Microsoft Windows Vista SP1 supports Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstation 6.0.3.837 and higher

Yes, I have install Kaspersky Workstation v6.0.3.837 and at the moment no problems.
