To All,

I have a client which has 700 workstations running on different Operating System, unfortunately they are using symantec v8 as of now.
After all the reviews and stuff they want to migrate from symantec to kaspersky IF........Ok, heres the concern,my client has no internet connection even dial up inside their office. As far symantec update is concern they get the updates from web (at home) downloaded it back to the office and load to symantec server and symantec server will release all the updates to the workstations.

To make the discussion short, do the Kaspersky can do the same with symantec av?Im going to install Kaspersky Administration Server then everyday Im going to downlaod the updates from the web (at home) then back to the office load to the kaspersky server and kaspersky server will release the updates to the workstations.

If anyone encountered this kind of scenario before please extend your solution to us.

Thanks alot in advance for the support.

Hi,

I guess you can install Administraion Kit on your computer (license key is used for client) and copy folder on the server. (I guess the folder is Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Administration Kit\Share\Updates)

Or you can take a look at http://www.kaspersky.com/avupdates
