im trying to install a kav 6 for file servers but it keeps detecting the CA etrust pest patrol 5.0 does anyone know where it could be hiding? Is it a registry entry i need to delete?

i have attached the caevents1 to see if this will help.

Try to move all the content of this folder in another place : C:\program Files\InstallShield Installation Information\
Then perform install of KAV WKS and if it works, you can restore the content of the previous folder.

Note : Display hidden & protected files to see this location

delete the following : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{ 39586F4F-758D-4A92-A5DF-33E9DB9C09D9}

and all is okay now.
