I'm trying to install kaspersky administration kit 6.0.1591 and getting this error massege

"error 1923. service kaspersky administration server (csadmidserver) could not be installed. verfy taht you have sufficient privileges to install system services."

any idea???

Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services

Perform the installation of Kaspersky Administration Kit with local/domain Administrator account.

I'm using the administrator account to install the admin kit (i succesd to install kaspersky for windows server and kaspersky for exchange which also installing services during the installation process)

i created a new admnistrator account and manage to complate the installation.


what is wornk with my administrator account?? (why the problem is only with the admin kit?)

- be sure your installation files are located on the local hardisk (no mapped drive etc.) and you've to be logged in on the local system (no remote connection).
- move all files from the c:\windows\installer directory TEMPORARILY to another NEW folder (after installation move files back to installer folder!)
- set installation path in registry in to " "
- cleanup the windows temp

Normally it should work if you've done this otherwise you can re-insall the msi-installer and try again if it still not work
please report which OS and SP you've installed.

use "DOMAIN\Administrator" in the username field, not "Administrator"
