Full Version: ITBar7Layout warning?
Kaspersky Lab Forum > English User Forum > Protection for Business

Since midday Thursday 04/03, perhaps after last update, proactive defense has been popping up warnings for a number of users when IE7 is launched:

Attempt intercepted to write value in system registry key, that belongs to Microsoft Internet Explorer plug-in settings.

Key: HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-337754418-1681874023-2697157341-1311\Software\Microsoft\InternetExplorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser

Value: ITBar7Layout

Should it be trusted?

Thanks,

DougB

Yes, it's iexplore. But in the Proactive Defense Info box, the choice "Add to trusted applications" is grayed out (disabled). I've inherited support temporarily, without documentation, and am not sure where to go next.

Than you will need to Unlock that option via AdminKit console:
