Hi all,

having deployed Enterprise Space to my network (FileServer & Workstation v6.0, MailServer 5.0) all my workstations are saying "A full computer scan has never been performed. You are advised to perform a full scan as soon as possible".

Last night I scheduled a scan to take place at 21:00 and having checked the logs this morning it ran on most workstations successfully. However, the Kaspersky workstation client still displays this message.

The scan I ran was set to scan System Memory, Startup Objects, Disk boot sectors & All hard drives. I set it not to prompt for action, with the action Disinfect ticked (I unticked 'Delete if disinfection fails' in case it removed any of my sales guys critical sales figure files). I also told the scan to shut down the machine when finished. For some reason (maybe related, maybe not) only some of the PC's shut down, but not all of them.

Having spoken to my distributor it was suggested that this is a known bug with a workaround but as yet they've not managed to find the workaround and I couldn't find anything on the forum or the knowledgebase.

Can someone shed some light on this for me?

Many thanks

Andrew

Hello Andrew,

A scan task is considered as a full scan task if the object "My computer" is checked in the properties of the task.

Hi Tybilly,

thanks for taking the time to reply.

I had a hunch this might of be the reason but didn't want to elude to it in my post in case someone wannabe techie agreed just to look clever!

Guess I need to improve my knowledge base search strings a bit! wink.gif

Many thanks

Andrew
