Hallo

this is my problem:

On a PC i try to install my 5th of five payed copy of Kaspersky IS, but, while installing the sw says "Remove F-Prot" (an antivir sw) and then I have to abort the istallation.

The problem is I do not have any f-prot installed on that PC. I use to have, but not now.
I deleted any file and directory of F-Prot i found, still no install.
I tryed then to delete any registry key in the registry with the name or value "F-prot", "Frisk", but still Kaspersky don't go.
I tryed even to install a free copy of F-prot and uninstall, but still don't go.

So, what is checking the installer?

Thanks for help

Hello,

Please create a GetSystemInfo report of affected computer, upload it on the parser and copy URL here.

Also sometimes objects of competitive product does not contain the name of the editor.

Hello
check if these keys exist in the registry and if so delete them:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{9FD12630-1991-46F5-8479-92DE1EAE87DA}
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{0BBD978D-EF4A-469A-8861-A1884B22E322}

Thanks to tybilly and Lucian Bara

I used GetsystemInfo to find registry keys and file to delete. I deleted the registry keys, the file, upgraded the driver as request, but only deleting the registry value written by Lucian solved the problem. Getsysteminfo did not show it.

Thanks a lot.
