No, Kaspersky can detect that virus only if I chose option Scan All, it looks on that that real-time scanning did not act .

Also I have problem with firewall , if I chose medium protection level I can't update KSM and explore internet , on low prtection level all works fine .

I have same problem on N95. Only with Firewall - OFF can I access the Internet. I am using trial version whilst I decide whether to buy or not. Had no problems with previous F-Secure which I uninstalled first.

hmm im just wondering if "traffic" implies to data transfer off/from the net.. or in general.. including bluetooth etc...
coz on MEDIUM, and on BLOCK ALL... i can receive Bluetooth requests, and i can transfer data huh.gif
for example, i heard people might hack ur device to steal data/contacts etc (through Bluetooth) - how could the firewall prevent that?

Hi, I'm using a trial version of KMS 7 on a WM6 device. Tried others in the past and found that real time scanning usually slowed the machine down reguardless of which software I was using (Trend Micro or F-Secure) so I use to turn the real time scanning off making it a worthless facility. I then just use to rely on manual scans to detect any infection.
I read Viktors reply which says it would slow it down. From my perspective I think you have to off-set the detection rate against keeping the devices usable. I have KMS real time scanning enabled and my device still works very well with speed and I would say that at the moment KMS seem to have got the balance about right. Have back ground scanning on and either perform a manual scan once a day or set up a manual scan to scan the device when you sleep, thats what I've done.
Lovely piece of software, will be purchasing it very soon as my trial runs out shortly.
Just through intreset, whats going to be the difference between the KMS 7 I've got now and the Enterprise version that some people are beta testing?

Regards

Ian

Hi, shah jahan
there is only IP-firewall in KMS now, BT-firewall will be implemented in next versions of KMS

I made my suggestion b_idea.gif here for Bluetooth Traffic firewall a long time back, but unfortunately, the newer version ie KMS 7 having firewall is not for my phone.. ak.gif sad.gif

Thank you! If you get phone in month you would take part in the-beta-testing of KMS 7.0 EE - it is our new enterprise solution for mobile phones smile.gif
