We still get sporadic notifications from PC's running WKS 6.0.3.837, I thought this was fixed?

Notifications:
Important:20/03/2008 11:40:13 Process (PID 3384) tried to access Kaspersky Anti-Virus process (PID 3092), but the action has been blocked by the Self-Defense component. No action on your part is necessary.

The process 3384 is in fact Explorer. Gets annoying with these 'false' alerts coming in. Anything being done?

Just disable those notifications.

Dredging this one up again because we're still getting clobbered by excessive notifications.

Okay, so in our global (and only) Workstation policy for Workstation V6 we have Events > Warning > Self-Defense messages unchecked.

Is there another Notification setting somewhere I've missed?
Steve Burkett
Follow up to this, there was a second place to deactivate the notification.

I had unchecked the notification for Self Defense Message on the Events tab of my policy (under the Warning pull down menu), but it was still enabled under the Service pull down menu on the Settings tab (in the Advanced submenu).

I still don't quite understand what the difference between these 2 is, they both seem to do the same thing to me.
