I installed Admin Kit 6.0. I previously had Admin Kit 5.0 installed and had no problems. I do not have access to the internet so I update with zip files. When I update from the folder containing the expanded zip file the update fails. The process is looking for masterv2.xml. It does not exist. My other server that has access to the internet in fact downloads a masterv2.xml. Any help would be appreciated.

We are currently testing Admin Kit v6 with a view to upgrading from v5 and are having the same masterv2.xml file missing problem. Did you manage to find a solution?

you cannot update the adminkit 6.x from a zip-file.

Thanks Helmut, and thanks to Kaspersky UK Support who promptly replied with the same.

I have found that I can use the zip files to create a folder on the Admin Server and then get the clients to update from this folder. I understand that any application updates will have to be monitored and downloaded manually but that is fine by us. If you know of any reasons not to use this method then please let me know.
