Experienced S60 user here. I tried downloading and activating the trial version of KMS 7.0. I installed the program fine up to inserting the trial access code. I did so multiple times, entered activate and the program appears to send data but the activation code window disappears. I go into the progam again and I am presented with a blank activation window.

So, I say hmmmmmm..... I'll just buy a license and try that since I have kaspersky Internet Security on my laptop. I buy a registered license for KMS 7.0 and, to make a long story short, the exact same thing happens with a registered access code!!???

I've been communicating with tech support since Mar 2 and even received a second access code and same thing happened.

Here is some facts:

- Handset Nokia N95-3
- AT&T 3G connection valid and use everyday
- Program Installation is smooth...cannot get past access code sending, appears to send but key seems not to be returned since program main page is
never displayed.
- No error msgs.

Can anyone assist please?? unsure.gif

Hi, Karl,
what happens when you enter your activation code and press Functions->Activate? Does Access Point Choosing screen appear? What means "activation code window disappears" - KMS disappears? In this case you could install ExtErrorss603rd.SIS from here - this program displays system errors

Yes, access point choosing screen does appear, I select the access point that I use for browsing, I select it, and the access screen engages the connection, I see the data connection engage and then I am back to the applications screen. Seems like the license is not returned.

UPDATE: I used the WiFi side of the N95, connected to my secure wireless network and was able to retrieve the license on my first attempt. I really think that the access code is sent but the return licensing info looks like it was not being received by my handset via 3G or GSM/GPRS.

Now that I have a license and I am able to go to the main program screen, I did a scan but I can't receive defenition updates via 3G. Something is wrong with the 3G connection but I do browse and send txt messages all day with no issues, download podcasts etc. Have not tried retrieving definitions, via WiFi, but I feel confident that I will be able to.

It's a strange issue.

Hi, Karl, could you reports if there are any events of the updater?

Updater works only in WiFi mode as expected. Select update, am provided with a list of access points, select the correct one, data looks like it is transmitted but nothing happens, no errors, just screen defaults to main program screen.

Viktor and Slash:

I have exactly the same problem. My phone is a Nokia N75 onthe at&t network. Have you solved this problem? I don't have WiFi on my phone, so I depend on the GPRS/3G connection to the Internet.
