When I try to browse it is very very slow. I will try to do a search on google and it will just hang. These symptoms make web browsing totally impossible and I finally had to completely disable the http scanning! Leaving me completely unprotected!

Hi molitar,

i think you are using version 7.0.1.325. This is a Home User Product.

No, it has not left you unprotected........................post a GSI log if you want us to help, otherwise contact support.

Hi, I do have same problem like molitar. My latest firefox's browsing speed is terrible. Look like this latest kav7 version 7.0.1.325 still doesn't completely fix internet browser's speed problem (although the speed is better than kav7 version 7.0.1.321). My WinXP SP2 also seem a bit slower than before when I used version 0.125. Now i will install back kav7 version 7.0.0.125 which work better with my latest OP6. I already check its not OP6 problem, its KAV7 problem after I tried suspend protection each one of it when surfing. sad.gif

I have a question; how to post GSI log?

Their is my getsysinfo log file. Strange Network Magic detects as a firewall because all it does is monitors to see if a firewall and antivirus is active as well as monitor activity and setup shares. So no firewall is installed except for Kaspersky.

Make sure that Fasterfox extension is not installed and see that pipelining is disabled in Firefox. GSI: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=36444 please feel free to start your own thread when you post back.

Uninstall it. Both you and Windows XP are more than capable of network management without it.

The reason I use it is that it informs me when either my brother or roommate deactivates their firewall or anitivirus software.. Meaning I can go yell at them to get their protection back on! Before I had it they would disable either one and get infected than I would have to spend quite a bit of time cleaning their systems. I got tired of doing that now I know if their computer security updates are up todate, antivirus is enabled, and firewall is enabled. As well as it let's me know who is using up bandwidth and on what software. It really makes management of the remote computers easier to monitor.
