Hi, Caos,
you could use an activation code for KAV Mobile 6.0 to activate Kaspersky Security Mobile 7.0.

You should uninstall KAV Mobile 6.0, install KMS 7.0, enter your activation code for KAV Mobile 6.0 and activate KMS 7.0. You receive error message if you will try to install KMS over KAV Mobile

Hi Viktor,

I noticed these messages and downloaded the 7.0.32 version (which I hadn't noticed was realeased) from the main Kaspersky download site. Then I uninstalled Version 6.0.80 from my Nokia N80 and tried to install version 7.0.32, but whenever I tried to do so I got a message that the file was corrupt.

So I went back to the Kaspersky download site (on my computer) to try re-downloading it, but now whenever I try to go to that site I get a message saying that Internet Explorer has a problem and needs to close. This happened like 5 times. Then I tried some other web sites and they all work OK.

Is there a problem with the Kaspersky download site, or is there a special URL I have to use to get an uncorrupted version... or maybe a special installation procedure... or a combination of those things?

The way I tried to install it was to transfer the file to my N80 using a program called SymSMB 2.0 (which makes your phone operate sort of like Windows Explorer) and then close that program and use the Nokia File Manager to "open" the kmsecurity_S60_3rd_7_0_32.sis file. It says it is preparting installation, and then that the file is corrupt.

Hi, biyahero
Try to download it from this place: http://downloads1.kaspersky-labs.com/produ...omeuser/kms7.0/
File size is 696160. Try to download it to your PC and install using Nokia PC Suit or send it to your phone over BT and then install from Inbox.

Thanks Viktor,

I found that the file I had downloaded from the server in the Russian Federation before I started having the problem I described with Internet Explorer closing every time I went to that site was indeed corrupted, since it was only about 449000 file size.

I got the correct uncorrupted file now from where you suggested, and transferred it to the phone using SymSMB 2.0, which is much easier than any other file transfer methods... which <BTW> if you haven't heard about you can find it here:

http://www.telexy.com/

It basically lets you use the WLAN to connect to your desktop and lets you map directories or drives on your desktop to your phone with a drive letter.

Anyway with the uncorrupted file I had no problem installing it and it is running fine now.

Thanks!
