I have installed kaspersky business pack on a windows server 2003 machine. When I have tried to update to update on admit kit,at last it gives an error message like "Update can not retrives update."

Check the update configurations first, if you have a proxy define it first.

Copy the files in this directory C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kaspersky Lab\AVP6\Bases
then paste it to this folder C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Administration Kit\Bases
and try to download now the updates bf.gif

i also have problems like that "Update can not retrives update.", what i did is just i copy and paste the "bases" and it finishes downloading all the update, but my concern is do i have to do that everytime when i'm doing a demo to our client (prospect)?.

Are there issues/bugs or am i missing something here? 8 out of 10 of my demo to client are having this problem..

Yesterday one of my client change the KAK and same problem arise, tried using the patch (AdminKit_6.0.1577_updater_patch) but i didnt help, copy and paste solved the problem.

Where do you see this message - "Update can not retrives update"? In the task results (history)? Please provide us with a screenshot or an exported task history.

i see the error message when launching task of downloading the updates on kasp6.0.1572_adminkiten, it usually prompts the error message (about 70-80 percent already downloaded).

Thank you! But we also need two more trace files - $up2date-1093.log and klakcon.txt.

follow the instruction (http://support.kaspersky.com/ak6mp1/maintenance?qid=193238870) but the %up2date*.log is missing? and $up2date-1093.log and klakcon.txt.

1. Have you ever restarted your server or AdminKit service since the error occured for the first time?
2. Please export task results to a text file and attach it here.
3. Check the process up2date.exe and kill it if it exists (using Task Manager, for example).
4. Stop your AdminKit server service.
5. Remove old trace files.
6. Start your AdminKit server service.
7. Try to update again and provide us with the new trace file if the error occurs.

In fact the file C:\Programmi\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Administration Kit\Share\Updates\index\6\u0607g.xml is locked by "System" process :-(
How can I do?

Thank you
