Just installed the latest version for the first time as a trial (I have been using Outpost) and have hit an immediate problem.

When the PC starts up, various startup items are ready before K is ready so they fail. In particular, they are referencing the server on the network and they fail with "file not available".

The folowing error was encountered:

I have Parental Control turned on but did not expect this to happen.

How does Parental Control work? Is it based just on keywords?

Thanks for the link but I still can't see why www.kaspersky.com/affiliate should be blocked.

I would be interested to know what method is used to do the blocking. For example, are all web requests sent to a central server for validation before being executed?

It's based on keywords and heuristic analysis methods....
