Hi all,

new to kaspersky. I am running Kaspersky 5 for file servers and I have noticed that there are three (3) instances of the same service running (KAVMM.exe).

Is this normal?

Hi!

This is normal(!) it runs 2 times for each CPU and 1 time extra if your CPU supports Hyperthreading.

It is possible to limit the number of processes with a registry hack, or version 6 has a menu to control how many it uses.
