I have a problem with my accountant software.
it's installed on a Linux server and I use it through a client installed on my pc with Windows XP professional.
Sometimes the client disconnect from server and the software developer told me that the antivirus stop its software.
I tried to add the port 2000 (where client works) but nothing happens.

Sorry for my english

Hello and welcome!
First af all you should at least specify:
1) which version of KAV for Linux File Server you have installed on
2) which distribution you're working with
3) is there KAV protection on the client side as well? If yes, which version?

That said, have you tried to exclude your software's installation folder from the real time scan?
Bye

ok!
First of all you're working with a prehistorical version of KAV for Win Workstation (i guess we're talking about it...), so, pls, upgrade it to the latest 6.0.3.837!
Next, you can add your software to the trusted zone (Settings\Protection\Trusted Zone\Trusted Application\): here you have to tick at least the checkboxes "Do not scan network traffic" and "Do not scan opened files".
Hope this helps
