Why is it that Kaspersky don't support Macintosh? If they have plans for supporting it when will it that be?

our client is asking the same question about kaspersky supporting macintosh.. they are very happy with the performance of kaspersky but their concern is about their mac pc/ macbook which is the source of virus in their network and those machine are being use by the upper management.

it would be great if kaspersky support mac.. will version 8 of kav supports mac?

There's no announcement till now about a MAC AV from Kaspersky.

Only thing i know is that they've it on a roadmap but i don't know for which year?!
